We are a Part 141 Certificated Flight School.  We are currently approved to offer the Private, Instrument, Commercial, Certified Flight Instructor, and Certified Instrument Instructor courses under the Part 141 Certification.  We hope to add the multi engine course in the near future. Our training is based upon the Jeppesen training syllabi and materials.

For new students, we offer one-on-one training with FAA Certified
Flight Instructors. Training videos, computerized practice tests,
and instructional materials are available on site. 
No prepayment is required.  In fact, we give discounts off the airplane rental with prepayment.  We also have several payment plans available.  You can pay as you go, or prepay the entire amount.   Financing is available which will allow you to  learn to fly for as little as $250.00 down and small monthly payments for up to five years.

We offer the Global Aviation Degree for anyone interested in having a career in aviation. Students can stay at home and earn either a Bachelor of Science (Aviation Professional Pilot) or Associates (Aviation Science) Degree.  General education classes may be completed either on line or at one of our local accredited colleges, and the aviation related classes may be completed right here at Pegasus Air . The Global Aviation Degree is through Utah Valley State College.  Utah Valley State College is regionally accredited and will accept official transcripts from other regionally accredited colleges. A varied and comprehensive financial aid program including Pell Grants, Stafford Loans, and various student loans are available to all eligible students enrolled in the Global Aviation Degree Program.

Licensed pilots can rent one of our aircraft by calling (912) 764-2836 in Statesboro, scheduling with one of our instructors to take a check flight, then reserving the aircraft.

OUR NEXT PRIVATE PILOT GROUND SCHOOL WILL BE STARTING ON SEPTEMBER 1, 2008.  THE CLASSES WILL BE HELD ON MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHTS FROM 6:30 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M.  ONE LESSON WILL BE TAUGHT ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHTS THEN THE NEXT LESSON WILL BE TAUGHT ON WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHTS.  STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO ATTEND EITHER MONDAY OR TUESDAY FOR LESSON ONE AND EITHER WEDNESDAY OR THURSDAY FOR LESSON TWO.  THE COURSE WILL BE TAUGHT BY BRANDON MORENO, AN FAA CERTIFIED GROUND INSTRUCTOR, AND WILL BE BASED ON THE JEPPESEN PRIVATE PILOT MATERIALS.  THE COURSE LAST FOR A MINIMUM OF EIGHT WEEKS. COST OF THE CLASS IS $395.00. CLASS SIZE WILL BE LIMITED TO 10 STUDENTS. PREPAYMENT IS REQUIRED TO RESERVE YOUR SEAT.

Due to the rising cost of fuel and insurance we have had to increase our prices. Our fuel surcharge fuel has been adjusted as well.  Our rental rates are based upon a fuel price of $2.61 per gallon.  Rather than raise the rental rate each time the fuel increases we implemented the surcharge which can be more easily fluctuated. (As of 3/17/2008 fuel surcharge will be: $8.04 for the 152,  $12.66 for the 172's, and $15.96 for the Arrow)

Southeast GA Eagle Squadron #451 of the Civil Air Patrol will meet at the Statesboro-Bulloch County Airport on Tuesday nights at 7:00 p.m.  Come on out and join us!

Orientation Flights for Civil Air Patrol (CAP) cadets were held on Saturday May 3, 2008 at the Statesboro Bulloch County Airport.  Two CAP aircraft from Atlanta squadrons and one from the Augusta squadron supported the mission. Over 18 cadets flew orientation flights.
